Slinky Studio:
"A simple uncluttered touch interface is for many the unique selling point of the Optimum G.21 Platinum Series blender. Whilst this is a cutting-edge, effective and clean control input, the new sleek base design and jar, that from our experience resists the need for a tamper, are also important innovations. Furthermore, the powerful 2,611 watt motor, when coupled with that new jar design, works powerfully for you - creating a blender equipped for every task you put in it. This blender is thus destined for regular use at home or even within commercial premises……’’ To read more Click Here."

Chris Mosler from 'thinly spread':
"So – what else do you need to know before I share another soup recipe?

Things I REALLY like about the Froothie Optimum G2.1 Blender

  • It’s really, really good at its job. It blends effortlessly and has transformed my cooking
  • It’s simple with one jug which is easy to remove (no locking or twisting), a well fitting lid and easy to use controls
  • I don’t have to remove the blades to clean it. One drop of washing up liquid, some warm water, switch it on and it is its own personal dishwasher – excellent.
  • IT MAKES HOT SOUP (did I say that already?!)

Things I don’t like about the Froothie Optimum G2.1 Blender

  • The name is a bit of a mouthful
  • That’s it really
Struggling to think of anything else’’…..To read more Click here."

Jacqueline Meldrum from 'Tinned Tomatos'
"Unlike the other Froothie blenders the G2.1 has a LED touch screen panel, which looks rather swish and is easy to use. This 6 blade power blender is suitable for home and commercial use. It has 6 preset buttons. The preset buttons allows the machine to vary the power it uses when it needs it. This means the motor will last longer. Like the other Froothie blenders, it's easy to clean. I just give it a quick rinse if I'm about to make something else and if I'm finished with it I pour some hot water from the kettle (about 12 cm) then a few drops of washing liquid and blend for a few seconds, then pour out the soapy liquid and rinse with fresh water. The outside just gets a quick wipe. It's one of the best things about my blender, well apart from it's convenience and power. What can I say? Loving it!......’’ To read more Click Here."

Manjiri Chitnis from 'travels for taste'
"In the past five years, I have tried several blenders and food processors and never really had satisfying results. So I ended up buying many different types of blenders……..Fast forward to 2016 – When I was sent the new and shiny high-speed Optimum G.21 Platinum blender to test and review, the very first thing I wanted to try was making an idli batter with a home made coconut chutney. I am delighted to announce that the results are really very satisfying. The 6 blade assembly makes it very easy to grind grains so my soaked rice and urad dal mixture reached the right consistency in no time!’’ To read more Click here."

Sus Davy from 'Rough Measures'
"A few weeks back I received something I have been lusting after for a while – A Froothie Optimum G2.1 Blender. A hunk of a machine that can blitz in seconds, pulverise stones to mere dust, make hot soup, and tackle any nut butter. With a mega 2,611 watt motor (with a 10 year warranty) the Froothie Optimum is something every kitchen needs. I have been waiting to use it for weeks, and now the time had come. It took mere seconds to blitz all my mix into the smoothest of smoothies’’….To read more Click Here."

Sarah Montgomery from 'plate to open'
"Introducing the new Froothie Optimum G2.1 Platinum Series blender, a sophisticated high quality blender that can grind nuts into butter and milk, make sauces and hot soups using friction heat, and even whip up smoothies and slushies. This silver machine touched down in my kitchen last month and I’ve been putting it through its paces with excellent results.  It is so simple to use with its automatic 6 preset programs. The LED touchscreen lights up when the appliance is switched on. You then choose which program you want and hit start, it’s that easy. There is also a pulse button and you can choose manual mode by pressing the speed and time settings and pick your desired speed/time. I started first with a banana coconut smoothie and I’m delighted to report that the end result was delicious and satisfying’’…..To read more Click here."

Cathy White from 'planet veggie'
"The Froothie Optimum G2.1 blender is beautiful. It’s sleek and shiny and has a touchscreen with six pre-set programmes for fruit, grinding nuts and seeds, soup, nut milk, sorbet and sauces. Wait! Did I say soup? It makes soup? Yes, it does make soup but it’s not a soup maker in the traditional sense as it doesn’t have any heating elements inside it; rather it creates heat by the friction of the blades. I haven’t tried it myself yet to make soup, but I’ve used it to blend soup made on the hob (recipes here and here) and it’s resulted in the smoothest soup I’ve ever tasted……’’ To read more Click Here."

Aimee Ryan from 'wall flower girl'
"I am so beyond excited to own the Optimum G2.1. I had heard so many great things about it but have to say it is even better than I hoped for. It’s powerful, easy to use, easy to clean and can be used for so many things! Not just smoothies and soups but sauces, nut milks, dough, ice cream and more. It also has a “grind” function for nuts, coffee beans and food prep. The possibilities are endless…As soon as I opened the instruction manual and saw there was a “nut milk” setting AND a nut milk bag – I knew exactly what I was going to try first. Nutella milk! Scroll down for the full recipe……’’ To read more Click here."

CMonica Shaw From Smarter Fitter
"I admit that I have always been a fan of the Vitamix’s simplicity. But the Froothie Optimum G2.1 is SLICK. The LED touch panel is, in two words, super cool…I’ve been using the Froothie Optimum G2.1 several times daily for the last three months. Andrew and I use it at least a combined 3 times daily for our pre- and post-workout smoothies. We also use it regularly to grind spices, hummus baba ganoush, raw cheeses and cheesecakes, the list goes on. Here we are making salsa macha, a Mexican blend of spices and nuts – the Froothie Optimum G2.1 handles it with aplomb …… To read more Click Here."

Georgina Young from Greens of the Stone Age
"What I really loved about this Froothie blender was it’s simplicity and elegance on the worktop, and that there’s no need to click, twist, or turn the jug onto the base, which I don’t know about you, but it drives me insane! The jug simply sits in place (I think by use of a magnet but don’t quote me on this) and has a super easy pourable spout too so no mess afterward! It’s also relatively easy to clean and maintain unlike other food processors.... You can use this bad boy for pretty much anything – I’ve used it as a food processor to make my awesome Paleo and Vegan Nutella, energy balls, cookie dough, soups, dips, to grind nuts into nut flours, and of course nut milk. I’ve also used it to make smoothies, nice cream, and of course my beloved cup of Bulletproof Coffee…… To read more Click Here."

But before I could actually cast my review, the Blender was put to a good test starting from Grinding dry spices to a curry gravy to a silken smooth Sauce. Froothie Review 2\n\nThe reason I went with Froothie was due to the excellent customer service feedback - even though the Optimum 9400 blender can be purchased £20 cheaper elsewhere. I wasn't disappointed. A very helpful representative answered all my questions no matter how daft-seeming. I ordered over the phone & the blender arrived the very next day. (Couriers delivered to the wrong address but my machine & I were soon united.) That evening I made my very first pesto sauce (delicious) on following days smoothies of all colours (they're called smoothies for a reason) and frozen banana ice cream. I've also made coconut milk with the nut bag provided. And I've had the machine in less than a week!\n\nI'm not vegan, paleo or raw food warrior - I can see why a power blender is an essential bit of kit for people on such diets - I simply want my husband and I to enjoy healthy and creative drinks and meals and the Optimum 9400 will enable us to do just that. \n\nI would certainly recommend the Optimum 9400. Like others before me I had considered the *** (second-hand on ***) but wanted the peace of mind of the five-year guarantee and good customer service. A few quibbles: a rather tricky lid; no spatula; no free postage or price match. But these are outweighed by the positives: impressive looks, sturdy build; powerful motor; manual controls, large jug. I haven't tried the recipe book yet but a quick flick through the 80 recipes by various foodies made me coo with delight and the ingredients didn't have me rolling my eyes in exasperation. I also like the fact that they included links to the contributor's websites. And there's the free nut bag to get you started, which was a nice surprise. Hopefully my Froothie blender will run and run like the energiser bunny, but in the unlikely event of any malfunction I do hope Froothie will honour its commitment to its customers.\n

I'm in love with my new Froothie! We're trying to eat vegan as much as possible at the moment, and having never owned a proper power blender before, I can't believe how creamy I can make sauces and soups - they taste like they have a tub of double cream in, but are dairy-free. Fabulous, I use it every day!

To make smoothies, nut milk mostly.\nI found the instructions lacking, for example no mention of what to do with the pulse button and how to use the tamper was spread over different sections and not really explicit until the something's gone wrong section at the back. I also don't understand why when you press a low medium or high button you can't also press the time button. How do I time things on one of these buttons? I think a lot is assumed, but I have never used a high speed blender before and find it confusing.

Only used a few times but so far so good. Simple to use, don't have any problems (like I had with my previous blender) with food slipping under or to the side of the blades - everything seems to get circulated, and blended really well. And quickly!

The blender is fantastic, strong and have used daily since I got it, great soups, icecream and done some recipes from Froothie Recipe book. I would recommend to anyone considering a high quality build to last blender.

Blender used frequently to make smoothies and soup.\nExcellent blender, wouldnt be without it now. Just bought two more one as wedding gift and one for a friend. Would have given it 5 stars if the lid was better designed and easier to use.

I have only had chance to use my blender a couple of times but so far I am very happy. Its surprisingly quiet compared to many other blenders and food processors. Straight forward to use and clean - good to read through instructions first. I have used it for veg smoothies and they are smooth and creamy - no bits!

We've only had the blender for a few days, already made a wonderful soup, banana icecream (twice!!), made 1 litre of almond milk from just 100gms of almonds, going to use the almond meal left over to make almond flour to use in things like pastry, bakewell tarts etc. Also made a green smoothie, and very much enjoying the blender. It copes beautifully with ice and root veg. Impressed.

Overall good product. Still Vitamix blenders feel superior and will do smoother smooties with less effort. Maybe my blender is faulty, it's definitelly quieter than Vitamix 750, but it does feel the RPM is just not there and hence the smooties got a grit in them. Try to blend kale in Vitamix and Optimum. Vitamix is going to be smooth. Still Optimum is far better than any other low-end blender and worth to buy as it should last and it does blend. But maybe Vitamix is still the best and smoothest ...

Well made blender far superior to our previous model and makes nut butter with ease. Our only negative comment is that we were surprised no spatula type implement was provided for cleaning the blender.

A super quality and it is very fast; slightly disappointing in the book which came with it as it doesn't help "newbies" to all the ways in which it can be used.

Like this on the whole although have only had a few days use. Can mix up 2 carrots, some fennel, 2 tomatoes, a chilli and some water into a smooth raw soup. Does need the full 90 seconds for this though and does get lukewarm in doing so. Could add ice!

I bought the Optimum 9400 after a lot of online research. I wanted a quality machine that would last but was put off by the cost of some the high end machines. The 9400 looks built to last and is considerably quieter than I had anticipated. Really happy with it so far!

The optimum 9400 is fanstastc. If you are wondering whether to get one I would thoroughly recommend it. It is a considered investment for your kitchen but the health benefits are fantastic. Healthy smoothies and soups at a fraction of the cost of shop bought. Best thing I have ever invested in for my health and over time, the best value.

What can I say about this blender, other than awesome! \nIt does absolutely everything I need it to, and probably an awful lot more that I haven't discovered yet! I'm totally new to the use of these powerful blenders, so at the moment its use with me is probably fairly limited. \nI make smoothies, and dips, and I've just started dipping a toe into the raw food water, as it were, so anticipate making a lot of recipes in the coming months. \nDead easy to clean up too! \n\nA decent length of electric cable on this machine, thankfully.

I looked around for a blender and was about to buy the ***, when I saw a review for the Optimum on a friend's website. It seems to be a better machine and at a better price. I was also reassured as Froothie, the distributor was based in the UK and seemed to be very responsive. They even offered a 30 days money back guarantee. I won't be returning my beautiful red blender though. It is amazing.

I'm starting on a raw food system of eating so am using the 9400 for breakfast smoothies (fruit/veg/seeds), main meals (soups) and sides (seed/nut butters, houmous, dips). As time permits, I'll take more suggestions and recipes from the net for variety.\n\nFor anyone like myself, embarking on a healthier way of eating, I have found the 9400 to be an essential tool that is considerably cheaper and more versatile than the Vitamix 750.

I use this blender for everything from smoothies to making nut cheeses and vegan ice creams. It is amazing what a difference this makes from a mid range blender, so much better blended, everything is smooth. It is super super quick and a breeze to clean.

Used mainly for protein shakes/smoothies. It blends really well incorporating things like nuts, spinach, apples with ease. Not too noisy considering what it does (certainly nowhere near as noisy as our last cheapo blender) and the build quality seems to be very good.

Great product, super powerful, beats all the blenders I've had in the past. Fantastic pulse option too.\n\nI don't like the lid as it often flicks smoothie everywhere and I wish the jug could have been a bit bigger say 3liters.\n\nApart from that it is amazing and well worth the money

I have been using my Optimum 9400 at home and have been very pleased with it. I have been speaking to friends and family about it and making things for them to sample. They have told me the recipes in the accompanying book were fine if you just wanted smoothies or raw energy foods. I would like to find a recipe book that shows the versatility of the machine in creating and improving a variety of dishes.

I use the product to make smoothies and raw bakes mostly.\nI'd recommend it to anyone . The motor is fantastic and can cope with the thickest of masses.\nOnly slight problem I've had is cleaning sticky blends (such as dates) from underneath the blades even with blending on high with hot soapy water.\nOther than that, fantastic!

I use this product at least 3 times a day to prepare meals and smoothies.\nI highly recommend this blender to everyone interested in preparing healthy delicious food in very little time.\nAlso recommend the 10 year warranty as I had a faulty jug that was replaced with no quibble and a response from Froothie on a Sunday evening to say my new jug would be sent the following morning.

I'm absolutely loving my new blender...I wanted something as good as a Vitamix and I believe the Optimum is exactly that! I've made smoothies and soups so far, and am looking forward to making my own hummus, icecream, and pumpkin flour. I LOVE the 'self-cleaning' function (you still have to clean the lid and any outside spillage, but it's WONDERFUL to not have to be poking around the blades and worrying about getting them clean) and can't believe how smooth and creamy everything is. Incredible :)

It is easy to use although I think it probably gets easier to use with practice, learning how much produce to put in at a time etc. I think that I may unintentionally put too much in and then it struggles to blend easily but once it gets going it extremely good.

I love my blender, I can really show off with it when friends come to stay. I can offer delicious hot soups, smoothies,or a healthy ice- cream, crush ice for drinks\nIt did take me a while to get used to the timing of blend as you can over blend if making ice-cream as it is very quick to make.\nThe only down side was the small recipe book although I can now see its good, its down to first impressions when you see a nice big book & if you are a novice in the kitchen you need that extra help.

  • Introduction

Sleek, sophisticated and so very practical – the Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender is the most advanced blender within the Optimum range of appliances.

Our supplier, Optimum Appliances, is an Australian-owned company who've built their reputation by developing world-class products, which are then distributed across the globe exclusively via Froothie. They’ve earned that reputation in part due to the time invested to research customer’s needs – and then do whatever possible to achieve a high quality end result.

For example, we asked our busiest, most discerning clients what they really needed from their blenders. They told us they wanted an intelligent appliance that created smoothies, soups, and other fresh, healthy foods as quickly and simply as possible. Just as importantly, however, they didn’t want all that intelligence to come at the expense of elegance.

Welcome to the Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series Blender: smart, versatile functionality at the push of a button – all in a stunningly stylish exterior package.

  • Why offer the Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender?

Froothie’s goal is simple: Helping people lead a healthier lifestyle whilst promoting our exclusive range, Optimum. We know that staying healthy and eating the freshest, most nutritious foods is a non-negotiable for you. How else would you find the energy to keep up with your busy schedule?

However, that same schedule means you need the process of preparing those foods to be as straightforward and hassle-free as possible. We also know that you’ve reached a place in your life where form is as important as function. That means you need to love the way an appliance looks on your bench as much as you love the way it works in your life.

Optimum Appliances have worked hard to design a blender that ticked all the boxes: smart and versatile, with a sleek, modern appearance. The result: the Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender where quality and versatility meet a unique and stylish design.

  • Key benefits for you

It’s great to know that the high-quality stainless steel exterior of your Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender will fit in seamlessly with your overall kitchen décor. However, appearance is not all. You’ll be delighted to discover several “smart and versatile”, functions and here’s what we mean:

    • An elegantly simple LED touchscreen panel: This clear, uncluttered display screen makes selecting the right menu option a breeze.

    • Six automatic, one-push button programmes: Create perfect smoothies, sorbets, nut milks, soups, sauces, or ground nuts or coffee… each with a single button press.

    • Precise, fine-tuned manual control: Ability to set the time and speed to the exact parameters you desire, or pulse first for increased smoothness.

    • A large, multipurpose wet/dry jug: No need to use separate jugs for different types of blending jobs.

    • Simple to clean: The innovative design makes cleaning your Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender easy – there is no need to remove the blades!

Of course, as with any Optimum appliance, safety is paramount. That’s why the Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender doubles up on safety protections – with automatic overheating protection for the motor, and electrical overload protection for the machine itself.

  • Our Promise

The benefits of being a Froothie customer extend well after you order your Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender. While your new blender offers simplicity at the touch of a button, there’ll always be more you can do with it, so you’ll want ongoing guidance and support to get the most from it.

That’s why we ensure that our support team are there for you if you need them. The Froothie Support and Warranty System is available 24/7 allowing you to request assistance anytime of the day.

  • Summary

We could keep singing the praises of the Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender ad infinitum… However, there’s no better way to appreciate its flawless blend of form and function than to experience it operating in your own kitchen.

It’s powerful enough to use in a busy juice bar, versatile enough for a high-end café, and yet elegant enough to contribute to the classiest kitchen décor. In short, the Optimum G2.1 - Platinum Series blender is the perfect merger of style and substance you’ve been searching for.
